ToggleThe First Nations Expedition left Jonquière this morning around 10:45. The next destination of our journey: Mashteuiatsh. We arrived around 5:00 PM. The day went very well. The trail conditions were significantly better than yesterday.
Before entering the community, we had the women lead the pack, as tradition dictates. An extraordinary welcome awaited us from this community. It’s wonderful to feel all this positive energy and joy.
Tomorrow, it’s Chibougamau with 315 km to cover. It will be a very long day. An early rest tonight is therefore essential.
