Today, January 30th,
We departed from Mashteuiatsh at 8:30 a.m. heading towards Chibougamau, a 330 km journey. The trail conditions were perfect! This was fortunate because we would have never reached our destination on time otherwise. Finally, the Sûreté du Québec police officers made their appearance for road crossings.
The welcome in Chibougamau was very warm. A spaghetti dinner awaited us at the town hall along with some fantastic desserts. The team is truly united, and we are maintaining a good speed. It was an extremely long day, and we are tired.
Tomorrow, we set off for Lebel-sur-Quévillon; a beautiful 270-kilometre journey.
