Pascal Fortin
Pascal Fortin’s passion for snowmobiling took root in early adulthood, when he was riding the trails of the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region with family and friends. Having lived there since childhood, he developed a deep attachment to winter, the outdoors, and the vast northern landscapes that shape his daily life.
A snowmobile enthusiast for more than 25 years, Pascal loves putting on the kilometres on groomed trails and fully enjoying the winter touring experience. His seasonal work in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator allows him to devote a large part of his time to his winter passion.
Today, he shares his enthusiasm and expertise with readers of Motoneiges.ca through informative, entertaining, and critical columns covering new models, gear, destinations, and industry news. An active contributor to the editorial team, he regularly takes part in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and events, while bringing forward new ideas to help the magazine shine within the powersports community.
Very active in the field, Pascal has taken part in several video shoots across Québec. He also served as a special correspondent during the second edition of the Expédition Premières Nations (2024). During this more than 3,500-km journey over two weeks, he filed a daily article recounting the progress of the route and the highlights shared with his riding partners, who quickly became like family.
Known for his professionalism, he strives to uphold journalistic ethics while remaining attentive to readers’ needs and expectations. His goal is to promote snowmobiling culture by highlighting essential values such as respect for nature, safety, camaraderie, and a spirit of adventure.
Pascal is a true team player—sociable and always ready for the next ride. A former volunteer patrol member for a local club, he remains deeply involved in the community. Everyone who knows him agrees he’s a genuine snowmobile fanatic… and, above all, that he loves talking about it.
