Diverse Snowmobile Trail Network in the Outaouais

One of the key attractions of Outaouais lies in the quality of its trail network. Carefully maintained and marked by the seven local snowmobile clubs, these trails ensure a safe ride throughout the season. This interconnected network allows you to cross hills and valleys, pass through stunning boreal forests, and glide along frozen rivers and lakes, all while enjoying a peaceful environment far from everyday noise.

Snowmobilers of all experience levels are invited to explore the region’s diverse trails. Among the most popular routes is the Shawville to Maniwaki circuit (224 km). This route connects the Pontiac and Vallée-de-la-Gatineau regions.

From Shawville, head north on regional trail 311 and turn left onto Trans-Québec Trail 13 toward Maniwaki. Along the way, you’ll pass by several lakes, including the beautiful Blue Sea Lake. Continue on regional trail 322 to Village Majopial.

End your day by returning to the Trans-Québec Trail 13 toward Maniwaki and enjoy a restful night (and an outdoor spa!) at Auberge du Draveur.

Then, get ready for your next adventure: the “Kings of the North” route! This trail offers wide, well-groomed paths and breathtaking landscapes.

Start your 155 km journey along Lake Simon, where you’ll connect to Trans-Québec Trail 43, leading to the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve. Crossing this expanse of wilderness offers a feeling of complete seclusion from the outside world!

Upon exiting the reserve, take regional trail 323, then follow a local trail heading north. When you reach the village of Duhamel, you’ll be greeted by hundreds of deer—a perfect spot to take a break.

All these trails are expertly maintained by local clubs, ensuring optimal riding conditions from the start to the end of the long snowmobiling season.
