First Impressions of the 2025 Ski-Doo Renegade Adrenaline with Enduro Package

After covering over 1,000 km, despite a late winter, I can confidently share my thoughts on the 2025 Renegade Adrenaline with the Enduro package. My first impressions follow the structure of my pre-ride analysis published earlier. I’ll start by discussing the 900 ACE Turbo engine and the ITC system of my snowmobile. Then, I’ll move on to the REV Gen5 chassis, suspension, ICE Ripper TX track, and TX skis. I’ll conclude with my thoughts on the controls and standard equipment, including the 10.25-inch touchscreen.

900 ACE Turbo Engine: Power and Fuel Efficiency

My Renegade Adrenaline 2025 is equipped with the 900 ACE Turbo engine, delivering 130 hp, which I find more than sufficient. This power should satisfy most snowmobilers, in my opinion. The engine performs well, offering strong acceleration in both STANDARD and SPORTS modes. So far, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its fuel efficiency. The 900 ACE Turbo seems to strike an excellent balance between performance and fuel economy.

SPORTS mode is the most responsive of the three, yet it remains easy to control. STANDARD mode, on the other hand, provides smoother acceleration. It even becomes nearly as powerful as SPORTS mode when I push the throttle hard. However, I’ve noticed a slight engine compression when I release the throttle, regardless of the driving mode.

As for the throttle, I find the ITC system responsive. In my pre-ride analysis, I mentioned that this technology wasn’t quite dialled in for bumpy trails. I find the system too twitchy. I’ve ridden my Renegade Adrenaline in both SPORTS and STANDARD modes to test it. So far, I haven’t noticed any issues in STANDARD mode, regardless of trail conditions. In SPORTS mode, however, I’ve experienced unexpected acceleration on very rough trails. I could still control the snowmobile, but STANDARD mode was more enjoyable.

REV Gen5 Chassis and rMotion X Suspension: Comfort and Handling

The 2025 Renegade Adrenaline is built on the REV Gen5 chassis, which provides excellent protection against the cold. It features side deflectors that make a significant difference.

For suspension, the rear of the snowmobile is equipped with the rMotion X, paired with the ACS (Air Controlled Suspension) shock. You can easily adjust this shock using the switch on the left handlebar. The front RAS X suspension and Pilot TX skis complement the rear suspension well. Personally, I adjust the ski depth slightly to achieve a mild understeer in corners, which significantly reduces the risk of darting. So far, I haven’t experienced any darting.

The front and rear suspensions work seamlessly with the REV Gen5 chassis, making the Renegade Adrenaline a pleasure to ride. The snowmobile stays planted on the trail, and the skis don’t lift in corners. Plus, it’s incredibly comfortable.

ICE Ripper XT Track: Traction and Safety on Icy Snow

The traction comes from the ICE Ripper XT 137 × 15 × 1.25 track. So far, I’ve found the traction and braking to be excellent. I’ve ridden on icy sections of trails, and the snowmobile hasn’t slipped.

Controls, Features, and the 10.25-Inch Touchscreen

The controls on the left handlebar of the Renegade Adrenaline with Enduro are well placed, easy to access, and appropriately sized. The issue raised last year regarding the independent control of heated grips and thumb warmers seems to be resolved. You can now control them independently using the button on the handlebars or directly on the display. The performance is perfect—they heat up quickly. Out of the five available levels, I’ve never needed to go beyond the second.

Using the switches on the handlebars, you can navigate the 10.25-inch colour touchscreen. You can control the following:

  • Air shock firmness,
  • Driving mode (SPORT, STANDARD, ECO),
  • Vehicle start-up,
  • Information displayed on the control screen.

In another vein, I appreciate the adjustable windshield. I find it easy to operate, allowing me to raise it in colder temperatures. However, I wish it were slightly wider, as I felt some air on my arms while riding.

The 2025 Renegade Adrenaline with Enduro also features LED headlights. I haven’t ridden at night yet, but I’ve noticed that with the headlights in the high position, I’m highly visible, even when the snowmobile ahead kicks up a lot of snow. This safety feature is a big plus for me.

The pivoting mirrors provide excellent rear visibility. I don’t need to focus for long to see what’s behind me, allowing me to keep my attention on the trail ahead.

In terms of comfort, the seat remains plush and isn’t affected by the cold. The heated seat function is also effective and appreciated.

Now, let’s talk about the 10.25-inch colour touchscreen. I find it easy to read, even when standing while riding. All the information is clearly displayed and well sized. I like being able to see all the relevant data, such as speed, odometer, time, engine temperature, fuel level, and RPM.

Admittedly, I went through a short adjustment period at first to navigate the menus. Now that I’m familiar with it, however, I find it very user-friendly. You can perform the same operations as with the handlebar controls. Some adjustments are made via touchscreen, while others require the switches on the handlebars.

I also really appreciate the built-in GPS. I don’t need to connect my smartphone or even have cell service for it to work. However, you’ll need to update the Quebec trail map beforehand, which takes about 30 to 40 minutes. I haven’t tried the BRP Connect technology yet, as I’m very satisfied with the GPS for now.

In Conclusion

So far, my 2025 Renegade Adrenaline with the Enduro package has exceeded my expectations. Its comfort and performance motivate me to rack up the miles. I feel like winter is going to fly by too quickly. A full report will follow at the end of my test, so stay tuned to our social media channels to catch it!

To conclude, I’d like to express my gratitude to Motoneiges Géro, the BRP dealer in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, who generously lent me a snowmobile for this long-term test. I encourage you to visit their store and meet their team to check out the latest Ski-Doo and Can-Am off-road models.
