Accessory spotlight : Polaris Lock and Ride Flex

For 2021, Polaris introduced 9 easy on, easy off Lock & Ride Flex accessories that mate directly to Matryx models.

Lock & Ride Flex storage accessories can also be mated to any snowmobile with a T slot tunnel attachment system by using a $29.99 USD Lock & Ride Flex adaptor kit (PN 2884939).

In this spotlight we feature Polaris’ Adventure Tall Flex bag (PN 2884456).

The Adventure bag offers the greatest storage capacity of the current Lock & Ride Flex line with 35L of flexible easily organized space.

When we decided to highlight the Adventure bag we had our typical long distance travel uses in mind. The realities and limitations of COVID altered these plans and relegated our Adventure bag uses to more lunch wagon purposes.

In this altered use the Adventure bag has been perfect.

Once the semi rigid shell is unbuckled you have access to zippered netted storage pocket for easily accessed low profile items as well as the cavernous capacity below. The Adventure bag includes a plentiful supply of velcro attachable dividers which may be used in a variety of configurations to keep your stored supplies separated, organized and easily located.

In this year’s redefined Adventure bag uses, these adjustable dividers were perfect. In maximum storage touring uses the dividers may not be preferred and can easily be removed.

The beauty of the Lock & Ride Flex accessories is in their ease of attachment and removal. Simply depress the 2 rear tabs and the entire bag slides off the tunnel for easy transport by a rugged rear handle. When normalcy returns you’ll stroll into the hotel at the end of the day like a champ. The Adventure Flex bag is rugged, simple and spacious.  Nice job Polaris!
