ToggleI don’t know if you’re like me, but it seems that all the boots sold for snowmobiling all look the same … well, that’s far from true. BRP is allowing me to try the Tec+ REC boots and give you my comments on them, so here they are.
The Visual
The boot is aesthetically pleasing, i.e., it is not as big as a bear’s paw but more like a walking boot. It is light and ties with a lace at the front and has a strap at the back, which allows us to hold it to introduce our foot properly inside.
The Trial
When I put my feet in the boots, I feel like I’m putting on slippers. It is total comfort. The laces allow me to adjust them perfectly to my feet. They are also very warm, and you can face the winter without fear of freezing your toes. The outside of the boots is made of hard-wearing leather, and the membrane is breathable and repels water, making it waterproof. The soles are sturdy and non-slip. Finally, the inner lining is removable so we can dry them well.
Conclusion
Ski-Doo’s Tec+ REC boots provide unparalleled comfort and freedom of movement. Whether it is to get your boots in and out of the stirrup of your snowmobile or simply to take a walk, they will give you complete satisfaction. If you are looking for a boot with all the qualities I have listed, I strongly advise you to go to your BRP Ski-Doo dealer to purchase these boots. I would like to finish by thanking BRP for allowing me to do this trial.
