ToggleIt's the moment you've all been waiting for, finally here they are, the new 2022 POLARIS models! In 2021 POLARIS introduced the new MATRYX chassis, one year later the critics are unanimous, it is a perfect chassis, it has been designed around the driver to give him a unique and irreproachable feeling, an unparalleled freedom of movement. This year POLARIS is going to raise the bar a notch for the competition since the complete range will be assembled on the MATRYX chassis with the exception of the Evo and the Titan. That's not all, off-road enthusiasts will be more than satisfied, a new and more powerful engine will be offered.
For several years, Polaris has been offering to its customers an endless choice of configurations and colors to suit all tastes. This year again, it's no exception, all those who order their snowmobile in SnowCheck will have this opportunity. But in addition, they are introducing the ''STARFIRE SERIES'', ultra-exclusive and extremely high performance snowmobiles that will be available only in SnowCheck. In this series, there are the INDY VR1 129''/137'', XCR128''/136'', the Switchback Assault 146'' and the RMK Patriot Boost/850, Matrix Slash Pro and Khaos.

The VR1 is the trail performance snowmobile, equipped with the fabulous 7-inch Ride Command screen and Walker Evans shock absorbers, it delivers fierce acceleration with effortless control. To complete the INDY line, the XCR features strength and durability, available in 128" and 136" with the 650cc or 850cc, it's race ready.
Indy XC 2022
SWITCHBACK, the industry reference for trail and off-trail driving. The Assault model is the best crossover ever made, with a premium power-to-weight ratio and comes with Walker Evans Racing shocks. Engines available in 650cc or 850cc will be available in SnowCheck only. The XC will be available all season with the same engine option as the Assault, but will be equipped with Fox QS3 shocks.
For the utility segment, nothing new for the Titan, but a giant step forward for the Voyageur. It gets the Matryx chassis with the 650cc engine and a 1.6" track. Polaris has even made a twin, the Nordic Pro, which has a 2" track but will only be sold in the Nordic countries.
And now, the long-awaited moment. It's no longer a secret that RMKs are already the best snowmobiles built for off-road, and the evolution continues. Polaris designers have once again set the standard in this segment.
This year, they are assembled on the Matryx chassis, which is stiffer, 3" shorter than the Axys and the new Matryx Slash, which is 5" shorter than the Matryx. The Matryx Slash platform will be available on the PRO-RMK 850 and Patriot Boost, also on the Khaos 650, 850 and Patriot Boost. It will offer exceptional freedom of movement. The new RMKs feature a new, more expensive cooling system to reduce weight and centralize mass while remaining as efficient. For the tracks, there will be something for every taste and type of driving, 146'', 155'', 163'' and 165'' with 2'', 2.6'', 2.75'' or 3'' studs. The 7S screen will be standard on the Boost models and optional for the others.
Colors available in season and those exclusive to SnowCheck (Spring orders)
What will propel these beautiful snowmobiles to the top of the summits? You'll have the choice between the two Patriot engines, the 650cc and 850cc, and the all-new turbocharged Patriot Boost! Adding 10% more HP than the Patriot 850 at sea level and up to 50% more HP at 10,000 feet above sea level. This engine comes with a new clutch that eliminates belt deflection.
Of course, the engine has been upgraded to receive this vertically mounted turbo, which is 40% lighter than the cheap turbos. It is also equipped with a reverse rotating turbine and a unique exhaust gas control system that is patent pending.
Polaris has done a remarkable job, both mechanically and aesthetically. For 2022, the Polaris team has put everything in place to reach unexplored heights and as they say: We made it, so you can live it!
