Strike up the band, it’s time to celebrate!
For the 3rd consecutive year, Frank’s Motorcycle of Essex Center Vermont has received the recognition and distinction of being selected as Yamaha-Motors supporting dealer for SledMagazine.com.
SledMagazine.com is proud to enjoy the continued professional, knowledgeable and personal support that the staff at Frank’s offers to all customers. For 2018 our partnership with Yamaha and Frank’s Motorcycle promises to be more visible than ever.
We started the celebration and visibility by putting the attention grabbing SideWinder XTX 137 SE on display at Frank’s for all to see.
The gray and Hi Vis coloring and graphics of the 2018 SE definitely stand out in a crowd. We intentionally selected the Yamaha XTX 137 model for 2018. It is our belief that it could be the best matched model to maximize the SideWinder’s phenomenal power in the many riding conditions that we encounter here in the Northeastern US and Canada.

We specifically wanted to experience and trial the XTX’s more aggressive/deeper lug 1.75 Backcountry track for on and off trail traction (both stop and go). We are also anxious to return to the performance of the SE model’s premium and easily adjustable Fox QS3 shock package. The neon HI Vis graphics was just an attention getting bonus that will look awesome next to our new 509 Range insulated jacket /bibs and 509 Delta R3 Helmet.
It doesn’t matter how many pictures you’ve looked at or how many times you have seen one just like it, there is nothing like the joy of the one that is all yours.
After proudly taking possession, the first thing we do with our shiny new rides is to welcome them into our home by taking them apart. Welcome home!
Our 2018 SideWinder immediately went into the SledMagazine.com shop for personalization and preparation. One of the greatest pleasures of a new snowmobile is getting to know each other in the intimate setting of your own garage.
Just like you, we enjoy the special moments of making ergonomic adjustments, installing accessories, adding studs, changing windshields, wiring our GPS’ /helmet shields and everything else that a new snowmobile needs before its premiere voyage. The initial preparations often make a snowmobiler very thirsty as we celebrate and work at the same time.
Finally we make our preliminary shock and spring settings, make our final selection of carbide runners, pack up the tools and supplies that we hope we will never need and shine everything up with the admiration and love of a new parent.
The only thing left is sitting on your 100% ready for action sled and making vroom vroom sounds inside your head or proud and out loud. We do it too! Fortunately what happens in the snowmobile shop stays in the snowmobile shop.
And once again, just like you, we are more than ready to enjoy every pleasure, exhilaration, impression and memory that comes on our first ride, the next ride and every ride.
