Effectively, as the title says, this is my first ride on trail #43. It runs in Val-des-Bois, my small village located between Gatineau and Mont-Laurier, in the region of La Lièvre. This morning, I took this trail maintained by the Association des motoneigistes de l’Outaouais, to reach Lac-Sainte-Marie close to Maniwaki in the region of Haute-Gatineau.
The trail is mostly in undergrowth; this is not the place for speeding but to admire the landscape because the trail is mostly in mountains and we ride between lakes. I can assure you that it is worth the trip. Signs are easy to see and well placed along the trail.
Breathtaking landscape
It must be quite a challenge for the club to maintain this trail as 90 % of it runs in mountains; quite a job for the volunteers. I think that you are courageous and I congratulate you for your work. Furthermore, I must thank the land owners who allow the club to use their property. And special thanks to Pourvoirie Chevreuil Blanc, where 45 % of the trail is.
Wonderful panorama, the view on the new trail of Lac-Sainte-Marie
In conclusion, I must say that this ride has been incredible; after more than 4 000 kilometers, I know everything about my snowmobile. This is why I am finally ready to unveil everything about this 2015 GSX LE 900 ACE from Ski-Doo. In the coming weeks, I will present you my final report here on this web site. Do not forget to read it. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the season.
