All the parking sites are offered in assistance to snowmobilers by private businesses (accomodations, restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores), or public organizations (arena, community center, etc…). So, we recommend that you
go inside and inform the owner about your vehicle. He will show you where to park your vehicle so that it will not be a nuisance to circulation, to snow removal or to the business operations. Sometimes, signs indicate where to park the trailers.
Tell the owner for how long your vehicle will be parked on his property, a day or more.
Ask the owner if he needs your keys. For a longer period of time, some owners prefer to keep your keys so that they can move your vehicle in case of snow removal.
Park your vehicle close enough to the next one in order to leave enough space to others and as a precaution, your trailer should be locked up.
Keep the premises clean and avoid making unnecessary noises to prevent any complaint.
Remember to thank the business owner and even better, use his services.
It is a privilege given by the owners to let us park our vehicles on their premises and give us easy access to our snowmobile trails. A respectful behavior will help us get even more points of departure.
Also, most of the lodging sites may offer parking for your vehicle during a few-days trip. Usually, you let your keys at the frontdesk so that they can move your vehicles during snow removal operations.
