ToggleFor their second year in Canada, Lynx does not disappoint! With the introduction of new models, Lynx is doing very well with models that are very different from other companies.
Rave RE

Bye bye Boondocker, hello SHREDDER!
Yes, the Boondocker is disappearing from the Lynx lineup this year. We welcome his replacement, the Shredder. Just the name alone makes you dream… and the description too.
Absolute control, impressive power and incredible agility is what Lynx promises for this model. The Shredder is available in two versions: DS and RE.
The Shredder is based on the new Radien2 platform from Lynx. This platform is narrower and more efficient in the powder. In addition to thinner footboards and panels, the deck is shorter. All of these changes will greatly assist the rider in deep snow maneuvers by reducing friction and providing a lot more maneuverability. There are also now 4 engine mounts, which means less vibration. Add to that the improvements in the clutch cooling system and you have a much longer belt life.
This new platform also saves a lot of weight: 20 pounds for the Shredder DS and 35 pounds for the Shredder RE. The RE version is for aggressive riders who want to perform in deep snow. The DS will not only give its rider a great ride in powder, but also in steep slopes.
The DS and RE are available with a choice of engine: Rotax 850 E-TEC and Rotax 950 E-TEC Turbo R.

Are you ready for some HARDCORE?
Meet the XTERRAIN!
An extreme hybrid snowmobile that is far from a utility model! This model will redefine what we think a hybrid snowmobile is. I can’t wait to ride it and test its performance. As one of the best selling models in Europe, expectations are high.
If you want performance, this snowmobile is for you, whether you are more of an Xterrain RE or Brutal. Allowing you to venture on or off the trail in all kinds of conditions, the snowmobile will go wherever you want it to go.
The RE model is equipped with PPS3 rear suspension, LFS+ front suspension and KYB HLCR Kashima shocks that can be adjusted to 3 levels. Moguls beware! The ski spacing for the RE is 42 inches.
The Brutal model is equipped with EasyRide rear suspension and LFS front suspension with KYB Kashima shocks. Once again, the bumps can be tamed in comfort. This model’s ski spacing is narrower at 39 inches. For maximum flotation and precision in all terrains, the snowmobile is equipped with Blade DS+ skis. We promise a very efficient snowmobile in all conditions!
The RE comes with a choice of Rotax 850 E-TEC or Rotax ACE Turbo R engine while the Brutal comes with a Rotax 850 E-TEC.
If you’re more of an off-trail person, you’ll love the Brutal’s 20″ x 154″ x 2.4″ track. On the RE model, the 146 x 16 x 2″ PowderMax is used.
No matter which Xterrain you choose, you’ll be able to get your hands on all the terrain you can dream of!
