Last week-end, on a nice sunny day, my youngest son Sébastien and I went snowmobiling on the SRViper S-TX DX. Effectively, the brand new Seat Jack from Kimpex has been installed; last season, I had the chance to try it in preview (read…).
Thanks to the versatility of the SRViper S-TX DX, we can ride 2-up once the passenger seat is installed.
Before we left, we installed the seat on the snowmobile. This step takes only a few seconds. And we leave for adventure!
Of course, having a passenger at rear impacts on the suspension and the riding if there is no adjustment made before departure. Increasing the load of the Fox Float 2 rear shock makes up for the passenger’s weight; it will minimize the lowering of the rear end of the snowmobile all while maximizing ski efficiency at front.
In February, we usually enjoy the optimal trail conditions for snowmobiling.
This said, let’s come back to our ride… Sébastien and I had a lot of fun riding on snowmobile trails. It was a cold but sunny day, which provided the best conditions for memorable moments together.
Snowmobiling is a great activity to discover winter splendors with family members.
Once again, the Yamaha SRViper S-TX DX proved its great versatility. This snowmobile is really well adapted to Québec market since it fulfills the needs of a large number of snowmobilers. If you have the chance to try it out, do not hesitate!
To conclude, the Yamaha manufacturer also offers a passenger seat designed for the SRViper S-TX DX. You can get it at all Yamaha snowmobile dealers and its part number is SMA-8JP2P-ST-01.
The manufacturer passenger seat is available at Yamaha dealers.
