Yamaha 2021: Mathieu Lavoie’s Best Pick

2021 is a year in which Yamaha will do what every off-trail enthusiast has long hoped for: return to the two-stroke world. Too many years have gone by where the Japanese brand has had to content itself with watching the other three manufacturers grab market shares in an ever-changing industry. Yamaha 2021: Mathieu Lavoie’s Best Pick - Snowmobile - Snowmobiler

It’s extremely difficult for me to be objective about my Yamaha pick this year, given the sense of pride I feel in being able to ride an agile mountain snowmobile like the Mountain Max 2021, especially with its stunning graphics! Without making a fuss, this is by far my favorite snowmobile for 2021, especially in the LE 154” model.

Equipped with the single rail system at the rear, Fox QS3 at the front, as well as the 800cc engine made by Arctic Cat, it goes without saying that Yamaha is not showing up empty-handed for its reintroduction into the mountain world. Many people will undoubtedly rush to their Yamaha dealer to return themselves.

We’ll be lucky enough to have one in our 2020-2021 fleet. Needless to say, I’m extremely eager to pick up where the Mountain Max and I left off during our brief test drive in Montana in the spring of 2020.
