Wisconsin : Some snowmobile trails still open

The snowmobile season is over for many riders, but there are some trails still open if you’re willing to travel.

The southern half of Wisconsin is now closed, including Portage, Wood, Waupaca, Jackson, and Eau Claire Counties and south. There are some select trails still open in Clark County. Langlade County is closed, also. Municipal snowmobile routes that connect to trails are closed in these areas, too.

Snowmobilers will find fair to good conditions from Marathon and Lincoln counties on north.

Riders are encouraged to check online for the latest trail conditions before making their spring break snowmobile trip.
