Polaris racers Kylie Abrahamson in Pro Women Super Stock and Justin Tate in Pro Plus 30 Super Stock won their second straight races of the ISOC season to remain atop the points in their respective classes, and Mike Bauer (Judnick Motorsports) won Semi-Pro Super Stock 1 to lead the class in points.
Milwaukee winners Stephanie Schmidt (Sport Women’s Super Stock) and Brian Ludwig of Ludwig Racing (Sport Super Stock 1) also lead in points in their respective classes.
Pro Classes: Dominating the Top 10
In the weekend’s Pro Open racing, Brett Bender (Hentges Racing) finished second, Ross Martin was third and Robbie Malinoski (Amsoil/Air Force/Makita) was fourth. That left Martin second in class points, just eight points out of first place, while Malinoski is third and Bender is fourth. Levi LaVallee (Team LaVallee) is seventh in points and Andrew Johnstad (AMSOIL, Air Force, Makita) is tenth, giving Polaris five of the top 10 in Pro Open points.
Martin finished second in Pro Super Stock at Milwaukee, moving him from 10th to fourth in points after two races. Malinoski was fourth, LaVallee was eighth and Judnick was ninth at Milwaukee. Five Polaris racers are in the top 11 in Super Stock points, as Martin is joined by Malinoski (who rose from 17th to seventh with his Milwaukee finish), Judnick (ninth), Bender (10th) and LaVallee (11th).
In Pro Women Super Stock, Kylie Abrahamson won her second straight race and leads the class in points, and Nikiya Adomaitis (Colorado Sledstyle) finished fourth to put herself third in the points race. Justin Tate won his second straight Pro Plus 30 Super Stock race and has a solid lead in the class points chase.
Semi-Pro: Polaris Racers Pack Super Stock Standings
Polaris racers finished in seven of the top eight spots in Semi-Pro Super Stock 1 at Milwaukee, and race winner Mike Bauer (Judnick Motorsports) is also the leader in points in the class.
Joe Fallen (Scheuring Speed Sports) finished third in the weekend’s Semi-Pro Super Stock 1 racing, followed by Derek Ellis (Star Performance) in fourth, Andrew Lieders (Lieders Racing) in fifth, Colby Crapo (Leighton Motorsports) in sixth, Matt Bristow (Bristow’s Racing) in seventh and Chris Kafka (Team LaVallee) in eighth. All of these Polaris racers are in the top eight in class points.
In Semi-Pro Super Stock 2 at Milwaukee, Andrew Lieders earned a spot on the podium with a third-place finish.
Sport & Junior: Young Polaris Racers Are Winners
Stephanie Schmidt (Schmidt Racing) won the Sport Women’s Super Stock race in Wisconsin and is the class points leader, as is Brian Ludwig (Ludwig Racing) in Sport Super Stock 1, which he won at Milwaukee. In Junior 16-17 racing, Colton Lampi (Lampi Racing) finished second and Trevor Leighton (Leighton Motorsports) was fourth, and they stand second and third, respectively, in class points after two races. Dalton Johnson (Team Johnson Racing) won the Junior Novice 10-14 race at Milwaukee.
The next race on the ISOC schedule is the January 8-9, 2010, Western Nationals at Sandy, Utah.
