Snowmobilers took part in the Snowmobile Classic in Lake Par

Gear-heads got a taste of snowmobile history in Lake Park last Saturday, February 2.

The Classic Snowmobile Run is a fundraiser to support the Midnight Riders Trail Association. Money helps support the trail system. The event typically brings in between 300 and 1500 sleds that are up to 60 years old.

One rider comes every year to show off his collection.

James Hanson from Dilworth, "Probably about 10-15 guys and we work on sleds all day long, it’s what we live for."

Snowmobiles had to be at least 25 years old to enter.
