ToggleFrom The West Yellowstone community, to their Chamber of Commerce, all 4 Manufacturers and the invited Media members themselves, extreme dedication and commitment can be found in every detail of the 14 day Snow Shoot Experience.
The Community
The entire West Yellowstone community warmly offers sincere and dedicated extra efforts in making the Snow Shoot attendees feel welcomed, appreciated and valued.
The Chamber of Commerce
Over the past several years the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce has committed significant planning, effort and financial resources to an infrastructure and atmosphere that ensures West Yellowstone has the absolute best host location and site possible.
The logistic of the Snow Shoot event are an incredible undertaking including “months in advance” coordination of event infrastructure needs. Preparations include staging areas, mobile conference rooms, site security, sanitation, electrical/data services, fuel services, catered lunch facilities, avalanche instruction, increased trail maintenance and evening entertainment events. The list is endless.
The West Yellowstone community should be very proud of their Chamber of Commerce for their dedicated efforts and the success that they have achieved in attracting and keeping an important economic impact for their community.
The Manufacturers
Let’s face it, it would definitely be much easier for them to email us a media kit and wish us good luck in writing creative articles for our readers. However, each of the 4 Manufacturers has remained committed and dedicated to this hands on, face to face opportunity for media members to develop deeper more meaningful story lines that go beyond the brochures.
The Snow Shoot event is without a doubt the single most important opportunity for the media to personally touch feel, photograph and ride the next year’s innovations and models.
The Manufacturers commitment and financial dedication includes incredible time, travel and transportation of both personnel and equipment. From marketing people and numerous engineers, to administrative staff and maintenance specialists the commitment of people to make Snow Shoot happen is huge. The logistics for the transportation of snowmobiles, displays, product, gear, marketing materials and service facilities/equipment boggles the mind.
We as snowmobilers all benefit from the Manufacturers continued dedication and commitment to the Snow Shoot event.
The Media
Week #2 of the Snow Shoot event is the International week with media groups from across the globe including Canada, Sweden, Norway, Italy and Russia. Each group makes a significant financial commitment and time dedication to attendance and bringing the latest in the world of snowmobiles to their readers.
While an invitation to attend Snow Shoot is a significant honor, it is also a significant commitment. For our Motoneiges.ca/SledMagazine.com team, the financial commitment to attend easily exceeds $10,000. As volunteer Columnists, it is also includes the personal time dedication of 7 days away from real life responsibilities of family and work as well as the personal riding pleasures of the Northeast in early March. For some members of our Snow Shoot team the total travel time each way was in excess of 24 hours.
The Snow Shoot experience is both incredible and exhausting as our team makes every effort to bring our readers everything we can.
We ride each sled not alone inside our helmets like a regular riding experience but with the added recognition of riding with the responsibility of having our reader’s interests and questions in our helmets with us.
It is Motoneiges.ca / SledMagazine.com’s pleasure to make the dedicated efforts and commitment necessary to bring our readers the inside information, photos and hands on the bars experiences of our Snow Shoot attendance.
The most memorable experience that I took from the MY2016 Snow Shoot event was a greater realization and appreciation of the commitment and dedication of everyone involved.
