When snowmobiling, our hands are exposed to the wind and cold of winter. To warm them up, we wear gloves or mittens and turn on our heated handles and thumbs. But sometimes, it’s not enough. I have been driving with muffles for a few years now, but it can be quite cumbersome if you don’t have the right combination. To my great joy, I finally found the perfect solution … the Ski-Doo Grip gloves.

These gloves are small and short. They allow me to get my hands in and out of the muffles easily and quickly when signalling other snowmobilers. These gloves are just as warm as other larger gloves. They are also adjustable at the wrist and have a visor scraper. They are also designed to have an exceptionally good grip on the handlebars. Here are the manufacturer’s specifications:

  • mcFIT† technology for a better grip and added tactility and dexterity.
  • Insulated backhand only, for warmth without compromising grip.
  • Box fingertips to avoid air infiltration.
  • Leather palm construction for toughness.
  • Visor wiper.
  • Waterproof, windproof, and breathable glove insert.

Now that I’ve tried these gloves, I can no longer do without them. I turn on my heated handles and thumbs at a low intensity only, and my hands are warm throughout my long ride. If you drive your snowmobile with muffles, like me, these are the gloves you need. I highly recommend them. You can find them at your BRP Ski-Doo dealer.
