ToggleSeat Jack from Kimpex
Hi, fellow snowmobilers ! I am happy today to share my impressions on the Seat Jack from Kimpex.
A glance at the finish
At first sight, when I opened the package, I saw the nice finish of the luxuous seat and its good quality. Materials seem to be perfect; the material directly on the seat seems to be more adhesive to keep the passenger steady.
Mounts with safety feature Tunnel support plate Attachment system
Assembly
Assembly instructions are precise and very well explained. A pattern is included according to your type of snowmobile and it allows you to drill attachment holes at the right places. For my snowmobile model, I had two additional metal plates for improved rigidity of the tunnel.
You need to have some knowledge for the electricity part of the assembly, like to set the connection to the snowmobile. Ask your dealer if you are not sure.
Ergonomics…
Height-adjustable handles 3-setting adjustable backrest Adjustable backrest angle
I am going to share more details after my test on trail, but for now, I can say that the seat seems to be very well manufactured. Handles are correctly located forward and their height is adjustable. The backrest can also be adjusted in two ways; three settings forward or backward, its angle is also adjustable for optimal comfort.
Heated grip control and heated visor output
The heated grip control is located at the tip of the handle and is very easy to reach. The seat is equipped with an output for heated visor or for any other heated product.
The seat also offers hand guards to protect against wind. During my test, I will check out the efficiency of both hand guards and heated grips.
Come back soon for my test report !
Have a great season !
