Husky CKX Coat Test

Partner with the magazine for several years, CKX ask me to test the new 2018 Husky coat for men. As soon as I received the coat, I quickly put it on and went for a ride to test its effectiveness.

As soon as I went out for the first time, I noticed that the coat was letting humidity out, the temperature was close to freezing during the day. As we approached the end of the day, the temperature dropped drastically. Even though I was warm during the day, in the evening the coat still kept me warm.

The climatic conditions change rapidly in Quebec, it is sometimes difficult to have the right coat, which is why this coat has a system of integrated layers. It has a removable synthetic fiber lining often called a compressible coat. When the two are worn together it is a very warm coat. This lining can be removed at warmer temperatures. So you won't need to buy a different coat for different temperatures. This lining can also be worn alone, very useful when you’re traveling. Once removed, the compressible jacket is stored in a pouch so it’s easy to put it in your luggage.

The coat has reflective strips to be visible when riding in the evening. All zippers are windproof and waterproof. The coat is equipped with 2 side vents with net and easy access. You will no longer have to ask someone to open or close them for you. It is so easy to open the vents that you can do it while driving. It also has a cap that is easy to remove.

It’s a very warm and good coat, which also has a very nice design, inclined CKX logo on front, contrasting color added to zippers. The main zipper tilted to the right, it gives a nice look and facilitates closing without having to lift the chin.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our partner CKX for allowing me to try this coat and put it to the test.
