After a few thousand kilometers, I sit down to write my conclusion on my test of the HMK Team Lace boots distributed by Kimpex. You will agree that this season, we had extreme cold temperatures! So, I think that I can express true comments on these boots.
Firstly, what a great look! Almost all white, they really catch the eyes. Also, I like the black accent of the laces. As I said in my first article, these boots are very rigid, like snowboard boots. You must consider some time to get acquainted and walk properly, but it is worth it! Effectively, this rigidity offers inner comfort and when riding off trail, if your foot hits a branch or a rock, your foot will be better protected.
I usually get cold feet, so I did not know what to expect from this type of boot all season long. Well, I never got cold feet during all winter. I do not wear any particular socks when I go snowmobiling. I take the first pair in the drawer.
Also, it is important to note that I did not wear these boots only when snowmobiling. I had them on during outdoor events, like snowmobile racing. Even standing outside during a few hours, there was no moisture inside the boots and I did not feel any cold, which impressed me a lot.
One think I appreciated very much each time I put my feet inside these boots is their comfort. Effectively, the inner soles are so comfortable that I had the feeling of getting my feet in slippers.
So, I end up this test with this thought : « There is no doubt, I am going to wear these boots next season! The HMK Team Lace boots offer comfort, warmth and durability. What more could you ask for?
