FXR BOOST CLUTCH Helmet: Ideal off-trail 

Another piece of gear I had the chance to try is the FXR BOOST CLUTCH helmet.

You can easily see by its look that it is an off-trail helmet. The description is rather simple; it is made of a polymer alloy, which is very lightweight while remaining affordable.

As always, FXR knows how to give style to their gear. This helmet is stylish with pronounced curves. The shape is also designed to be able to put on a neck protector and to provide better impact absorption. The liner is comfortable, hygienically treated, removable, and washable. 

Being a 100% off-trail helmet, it is evident that exposure to the wind is important, so it is not warm for trails. On the other hand, it has proper ventilation when you have a more active driving.

One thing I would eventually like is a quick-release strap. When you are doing off-trail snowmobile, you often take off your helmet, and the double “D” rings are more difficult to attach with gloves.

Also, the helmet’s peak is massive, with the pointed shape, it can be a disadvantage if there are obstacles. However, the hole in the peak helps to let the air circulate.

Once again, FXR offers quality products with a style that stands out from the competition.
