CKX Titan Helmet Test
Just before going to the 2019 SnowShoot, to test the new snowmobile models from the 4 manufacturers, I found out that I would be able to test the CKX Titan modular helmet for my stay in Montana and for the rest of the 2017-2018 season.
When I received it, I quickly removed it from the box and examined my new helmet. As soon as I took it out of the box, I quickly noticed its lightness, I was very eager to try it. The CKX Titan modular helmet is designed to maximize air circulation. It's a helmet for off-trail snowmobile lover or active drivers. This makes it an ideal helmet for the SnowShoot, as the weather is mild at the end of February. In addition, we try several snowmobiles quite intensively, both on and off trails. We must have a helmet that breathes well. I really enjoyed this helmet while I was in Montana.

When I came back, I wanted to see how the helmet in colder conditions was. Because it’s a more ventilated helmet, it is not ideal to wear it in extreme cold, even when it is configured to let in as little air as possible. However, it is very effective off-trail or when you are more active because as soon as the temperature of your body increases the helmet can evacuate the heat very effectively. When the outside temperature is near freezing, the Titan CKX helmet is ideal because the ventilation of the helmet prevents you from getting too hot.
The vision of the helmet with the goggles is 210 degrees which allows a good view from left to right without turning the head too much. The muzzle is removable. The helmet has a nice snowcross look.

The Tactical 210° googles included with the helmet are yellow, it is really effective especially on sunny days. However, in the evening, you don’t have a good visibility with the yellow color, the purchase of a light-colored lens for the evening would be better. The helmet also has a removable camera holder on the top that will allow you to film all your exploits. CKX has thought of everything on this helmet for the thrill seeker who loves to record beautiful memories on camera.
