CAA-Quebec is now there for its members in automobiles, on snowmobiles and in ATVs

CAA-Quebec is pleased and proud to be the first automobile association in North America to offer assistance service to its snowmobiler and ATVer members, for reasons ranging from extreme fatigue to mechanical issues to inability to drive. No club until now has offered such a broad range of services to users of both road and recreational vehicles!

Starting today, towing service for snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) is now available along with existing service benefits for members holding the CAA Plus® or CAA Premier® options. To take advantage of this service, the vehicle must be on a roadway accessible to patroller vehicles. Also available: free fuel delivery, Safe Ride service, and even battery boosting, when possible.

Examples of situations in which service can be provided include:

  • A snowmobiler who runs into trouble while riding in Laurentides Wildlife Reserve is automatically eligible for towing service of up to 160 km.
  • The same applies to an ATVer whose vehicle breaks down near an outfitters' camp.
  • There are no exceptions for a side-by-side UTV (utility task vehicles) owner who experiences a flat tire: she is also eligible to receive the relevant Roadside Assistance.

This new service is now available, year round and at no extra charge, to members who have selected the CAA Plus or CAA Premier option, solely within the province of Quebec.

CAA-Quebec is there to help people, not just fix cars

Contrary to other roadside assistance plans on the market, CAA-Quebec covers its members, not their vehicles, in the event of a breakdown. "In keeping with our commitment to continually enhancing our relevance to people's everyday lives, we believe that this service is yet another way to provide peace of mind to the more than 1.2 million people who place their trust in us. As long as we can reach them by road, we'll be there for our members, whether they're riding in a car, snowmobile or ATV!" explains Pierre-Serge Labbé, CAA-Quebec's Vice-President, Automotive Services.
