ToggleComfort and ergonomics are words we often hear when snowmobiling. When we are piloting over two or three consecutive hours, each small detail is important to make our ride easier and more enjoyable. Riding position, protection against wind, suspension comfort, vision are among elements that enhance our snowmobiling experience.
2017 new hand and thumb warmers
One of the 2017 improvements will be highly appreciated by Arctic Cat pilots, new hand and thumb warmers. The new material used is more adhesive for a better stability of hands and mostly, thinner for more efficient heat distribution to the pilot.
New LED headlight
Riding at night includes some dangers and the most important is probably the vision. Even if the new headlight of the 9000 models offers a great look, it is mostly much more efficient. Fully LED lighting, its wide pattern provides a good peripheral vision and when high beams are on, low beams will stay on for optimal lighting. The LED technology is much more resistant than halogen, for improved lifetime of bulbs.
Models equipped with the 6000 and 8000 engines will also get improved night riding. They will still have halogen lighting, but the inner reflector of the light has been modified in order to improve its efficiency when high beams are on. When these ones are on, it happens that lighting is less effective closer to the snowmobile. To avoid this, engineers have modified the reflector to increase the vertical capability downwards by 5 %.
Thanks for continuously making our sport more enjoyable !!
