ToggleI have already tested the Absolute 0 mitts, one of the warmest in the industry and I could not wait to try out the new Absolute 0 gloves offered by BRP for this test.
These gloves are made for extreme cold with top quality materials :
- Nylon outer shell with leather reinforced palms.
- Lining made of antibacterial fabric, breathable and waterproof.
- Visor wiper.
- Waterguard membrane.
Shell : Nylon, leather, polyester
Insulation : PrimaLoft Gold

Here is an interesting fact. These gloves are not only very warm thanks to the PrimaLoft Gold insulation, but they are also breathable and take moisture out, two essential characteristics for both the pilot and the passenger.
With hand warmers for the pilot and the passenger, our hands may become damp and evacuating this humidity is a major advantage. We all know that moist hands freeze much faster; so, the longer they stay dry, the more pleasant is our ride.
These gloves are truly waterproof. I rode in storm of wet snow or under rain and I had to remove that wet snow or rain from the seat or the visor. My hands always remained dry.
These gloves are soft on your skin and they have a good grip on the handlebar.
These gloves are worth being in the Absolute 0 line of products, the warmest at BRP’s. I also presented articles about the Absolute 0 and Absolute Trail suits on www.motoneiges.ca / www.sledmagazine.com .
Even if they are very effective, these gloves will not keep your hands warm as long as the Absolute 0 mitts will.
Again on www.motoneiges.ca / www.sledmagazine.com, you will find another article about excellent BRP gloves, the Performance Outdry model.
Finally, I would like to thank BRP for this opportunity to test these gloves.
Enjoy your rides!
