Dear fellow snowmobilers,
I would like to share with you my experience when I attended a really extraordinary event! Last January, I have been invited with Motoneiges.ca at the unveiling of the 2016 Ski-Doo lineup in the framework of the Sneek Peek, a media presentation held in Valcourt, Québec. Not only am I a snowmobile passionate, but I am also a very big fan of BRP products and lifetime realizations of Joseph-Armand Bombardier. So, what could be more exciting for me than being able to attend the presentation of the new models right in the heart of the world capital of snowmobile. Everything was in place for a very memorable day.
It is in a very friendly environment that BRP people welcomed us. As a collaborator for Motoneiges.ca, I was very impressed to be among editors of the major snowmobile medias of North America like Motoneige Québec, SnowTrax, Snow Goer Canada, American Snowmobiler, etc. I was among the persons we see on television, on web sites and who write in magazines. I was there, on the site, with them and in real time! In a presentation very well tuned, BRP people described the main changes, technologies and the full lineup of 2016 Ski-Doo snowmobiles. Then, they opened the show room where we saw the new models and discussed about it. Marketing representatives were accompanied by engineers and designers and we were able to ask them many questions. All these people were real passionates of snowmobile and they were very proud of their product.
What came next was even more exciting! On the early afternoon, we put on our snowmobile gear to go and discover the wonderful trails in the region of Valcourt. Weather conditions were perfect and there was plenty of snow! Another fact that was even more interesting and outstanding is that we went snowmobiling on prototypes of 2016 Ski-Doo snowmobiles! During this ride of about 3 hours, I have been able to try out a very large number of models that will form the new lineup. I tested the different motorizations and new technologies to see their efficiency in real riding. At the end, we shared our impressions with the manufacturer’s representatives. I had a crush on many snowmobiles and I can’t wait to be able to present it to you.
As there were very few people invited to this event, I consider myself very lucky and honored to have participated to it. We do not have everyday such a privileged access with the main deciders of a manufacturer like BRP, and the opportunity to give our impressions on the product and influence its development.
I would like here to point out the incredible work of the BRP marketing team who made this day a truly memorable event. Everything was perfect, the site, the presentation, the snowmobiles, the novelties, the tests, the ride and overall, the participants! I sincerely wish to be able to live this experience again in the next years.
Thanks to BRP and Motoneiges.ca, I truly realized a great dream!
