The legendary XCR is back in the 2017 Polaris lineup!!

Many will remember how successful the Polaris XCR has been in the past. It was a legend in its category. After Polaris brought back the Indy models a few years ago, they have now decided to resuscitate the XCR.

Here is how this snowmobile has been presented at the MY2017 Snow Shoot : “ Race ready ”. Effectively, this snowmobile built on the AXYS chassis with a tunnel of 307,3 cm/121 in, is in fact a Rush with many components and reinforcements of a race model. It is equipped with Walker Evans front and rear suspensions and a taller windshield for cross-country style of race where the pilot is comfortable and protected against wind.

We could see the Polaris XCR as a blend of the Rush PRO-S and PRO-X models : it offers good comfort but it also lets you have fun in bumps. It is equipped with 600 or 800 cc engine.

With the powerful Polaris 800 cc engine, the reinforced AXYS chassis, the Walker Evans suspensions, the PRO-X handlebar riser block, a track with studs of 3,4 cm/1,35 in and lots of other great features, it is obvious that this Polaris snowmobile will be quite a success this year.

To conclude, I think that the 2017 Polaris XCR will make a lot of noise on trails as well as on race tracks. It is a very well-balanced and pleasant machine to pilot. In fact, it has been my 2017 Polaris best pick!
