ToggleIf you often go snowmobiling, you know the importance of proper clothing. Like gloves, the quality of your boots is essential to enjoy your rides to the most. There are lots of products and manufacturers on the market. The quality of the insulation, the manufacturing and the waterproofness are significant elements to take into consideration when you choose a snowmobile boot. During the 2017 season, I had the chance to put to the test the Carbide boot from Motorfist. Today, I am pleased to share with you my observations.

At the time I write this article, I already rode over 3 000 kilometers on my 2017 snowmobile, wearing the Carbide boot. Winter of 2017 has been one of extreme temperatures. I went snowmobiling in extreme cold of -30 °C and some other times in rain with temperatures above freezing point. In these conditions, you could assume that there would be significant variation of comfort. All season long, no matter the conditions, my feet have always been extremely comfortable in my boots, in freezing cold or warm temperatures. This is mainly due to two elements of the making of the boot, which are the top quality Primaloft insulation and the eVent technology that makes the boot breathable and waterproof. The construction of the Carbide boot is also excellent. The cemented rubber of the sole is of excellent quality. The rubber toe and heel caps provide increased durability. A little more rigid when new, the boot becomes quickly very supple to let us move much more easily on the snowmobile. The boot is also very comfortable for walking, so it is perfect at night at your hotel on a snowmobile trip. Being tall, the Carbide boot offers excellent protection against bad weather. There is also a hook on front to attach the boot to your snowmobile pants.

It offers all the comfort, warmth and waterproofness needed by all types of snowmobilers. It is made very robust, so you will be able to enjoy your rides with the Carbide boot during many seasons. Another advantage of this boot is that it is available in sizes 7 to 15 for men. Just like its looks, the Carbide boot is really built for performance.
