Testing the Adventure LinQ Bag and the Ski-Doo Handlebar Bag

Over the past season, I had the opportunity to try out two very practical new accessories from the Ski-Doo range, the Adventure LinQ bag and the new handlebar bag specially designed for the GEN4 chassis.

LinQ Adventure Bag

The new LinQ Adventure Tunnel Bag, now available in 2018, has a total capacity of 40 litres and is specially designed for use with REV GEN4 chassis of 137 inches or more. It means that you must have at least two LinQ positions to be able to attach the bag to your snowmobile. This bag is particularly robust, with a thermoformed plastic base, as well as semi-rigid sides and tops. Inside the bag, there are several pockets and compartments, in addition to having fixing points for elastic ropes.

I personally enjoyed using this bag throughout the season because it allowed me to bring all the equipment I needed for the video clips on the trail. In the past, bringing a tripod or video stabilizer in a bag was a challenge. Now, with theLinQ Adventure Tunnel Bag, it’s no longer a problem. I know that my equipment is protected and safe on the snowmobile tunnel. It’s really an accessory that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed throughout the season. You can see it on several video clips made during the winter.

Handlebar Bag

Now available for the GEN4 chassis, the 2.3L handlebar bag is also very practical when riding. It can be installed on models that do not have a mountain handle extension. Of semi-rigid construction, it is very securely attached to the handlebars. In addition to being waterproof, it has a pocket inside to separate the items.

I personally used it this winter to have my GoPro action camera with a handle at hand. It gave me easy access to it in a matter of seconds. However, for the transport of electrical equipment such as a small compact camera or cell phone, I recommend adding a 12 V heating element available in the accessories catalogue. This addition will allow you to keep your equipment charged.
