Snowmobiling in New Brunswick

Last March, I left from Rimouski with few companions to go snowmobiling on New Brunswick trails. We met early in the morning and once everyone was arrived, our convoy departed.

Right on our arrival in New Brunswick, we had the surprise to ride on freshly groomed trails. We were the first snowmobilers to leave marks. It was really wonderful, nice trails without any default on the surface.

We rode on such great trails right to the Moose Valley Sporting Lodge located north-east of Edmundston. This restaurant is part of an outfitter and is specialized in meals made with local products. Among others, the famous double Moose Burger; so delicious, I recommend it. I have been impressed by the decor : mounts of deers, bears and caribous decorate the walls, a wolfe skin is stretched on the ceiling, the ceiling lights are made with interlaced deer horns. All this gives a very warm atmostphere to the restaurant.

On our way back, we stopped at the Centre plein air Mont Farlagne where we enjoyed the warming sun while chatting around our machines. The sun rays were really welcome, giving us a taste of the coming spring.

Finally, we rode about 470 kilometers and we arrived late in the evening. Our tour has been wonderful and I will surely return next year.
