The Worth County Fence Stretchers snowmobile club will conduct its annual Snowmobile Safety Training Course on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Car Quest in Northwood. The cost of the class is $10 and students will need to bring a sack lunch. Beverages will be provided.
Class attendees must be at least 12 years old by March 31, 2013, to participate. All participants need to preregister for the class by Nov. 10 by calling 641-424-8536.
Snowmobile safety training certificates are a requirement for individuals to operate a snowmobile on public land or trails in Iowa and many other states.
