Hotham Alpine Resort welcomes the return of international airborne snow superstar, Jimmy Blaze, showcasing his mind-blowing stunts in a highly anticipated free event this weekend.
En route from Alaska and headed for Russia, this freestyle snowmobile extraordinaire will take flight at Hotham in one explosive show on Saturday August 13, performing his signature airborne moves including backflips, on a snowmobile.
Blaze, from Anchorage in Alaska, cemented his name in sporting history when he set a new flip record at the 2009 Winter X Games – a back flip on a snowmobile at 121 feet in the air!
Cory Davis, also a Winter X Games medal winner and fellow Alaskan, will join Blaze for his 2011 show, with the superstar duo performing together in front of the Team Hotham Clubhouse at the base of Hotham’s Summit. Two riders, more tricks and more action!
Spectacular fireworks from the Summit will top off what promises to be an extraordinary visual experience not to be missed.
