Last week-end was the Snowmobile Winter Expo in Manchester, New Hampshire. According to the promoters, few thousand people past the Gates at the Radisson Expo Center. Among the exhibitors, there were a lot of Snowmobiles Clubs and Snowmobile Associations from e New Hampshire, Vermont and other nearby states.
Philippe Soucy, webmaster from www.sledmagazine.com and Dale Fitzpatrick from the Hotline Info motoneigiste Gaspésie were there to represent the Quebec Maritime promotion organization. « It’s always fascinating to see the American snowmobilers love the Quebec’s trails system » said Dale Fitzpatrick. Others promoters from Mauricie, Lanaudière, Centre-du-Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches were at the show. Of course, out of the many questions we were asked was about the argument between the government and the farmer’s , and if it was going to be an issue for snowmobilers this winter.
Many retailers were on location in which you could buy gear of any kind. Among them, one of the most popular was the Ravex booth from South Portland, Maine. They caught lots of attention because of their freestyle video produced last year during the « Outer Limit Tour »The variety of high end riding gear.
In conclusion, the Snowmobile Winter Expo in Manchester was the last show in eastern north America for this year calendar of events.
