Qualipièces Leveling Jack SS1 — Snowmobile Lift Trial

During the season, there comes a time when every snowmobiler must take a break to do maintenance on their vehicle. Whether it’s to align or check track tension, or even to adjust the suspension. Despite the weight, size, and ergonomics of modern snowmobiles, it’s essential to have the right tools to work on your snowmobile. It’s under these circumstances that a snowmobile lift makes sense.

The SS1 jack from Qualipièces is an essential tool to do the maintenance of your snowmobile

This season, thanks to Qualipièces, I have the chance to try the Jack SS1, which is a snowmobile lift. Just like the manufacturer’s name (Qualipièces means Qualiparts), it’s clear that the SS1 jack is made with top-quality components and is built to last. So far, I’ve used it to do the first maintenance on our long-term test snowmobiles (track tension adjustment). I’ve also used it a few times to lift my snowmobile’s rear to relieve pressure on the suspension to prevent premature wear. For this trial, Qualipièces provided the Extension Tube (K04-8004) for the snowmobile lift that raises it by 11 inches. The latter is required for lifting a modern snowmobile, such as my Ski-Doo Renegade X 2020, that I have on long-term trial. The tube must be installed during the initial assembly on the support base. I’m also testing the Large Hook (K04-8003), which allows a better and more stable rear bumper grip.

Having tried different lifts in the past, I find that the SS1 jack from Qualipièces is to be recommended as it’s remarkably stable thanks to its ground support and the length that allows lifting the rear of the snowmobile easily. Its assembly is also relatively simple if you follow the instructions included in the package. In addition to the above-mentioned maintenance activities, the SS1 jack is also the ideal tool for replacing your snowmobile runners.
