In April 2011, I ordered a 2012 Ski-Doo Grand Touring at Roger A. Pelletier's, dealer in Témiscouata sur le Lac, along with 15 gallons of Bombardier XPS synthetic oil.  I received my new machine the next October and on December 10th 2011, I rode it for the first time.  The adventure had begun.

I ride on my Grand Touring LE for the third season now and I did not experience any problem.  I must say that it is equipped with Ice Scratchers and that they are continuously spread out.

I had low service to do.  Once, I had to replace a broken plastic part after hitting pieces of ice when I was riding off-trail.  During a spring maintenance, I also had to replace the tailpipe; it was beginning to be worn out and I wanted to avoid trouble during my future rides.

I comply with the recommended maintenance; each 3 000 or 4 000 km,  I rotate the belt and at the second tour, I adjust the clutch.  I did not have to change the belt yet.  I blow on the drive clutch to take dust away, I put grease on the suspension and I check the track tension.  The only part I had to change was a wheel bearing on the suspension.  The slides are 50 % worn out; if everything goes well, they should be ok for at least another season.

On Saturday February 8th 2014, the odometer went over 20 000 km as I was touring in the beautiful region of Gaspésie.  As I am writing this article, the odometer indicates 21 894 km and I am really satisfied with my Grand Touring.  This is why I recommend the  E-TEC 600 to my fellow snowmobilers !
