Day 1
Departure from Repentigny at about 5 h 30, arrival for 11 h 30. Right away, I get on my snowmobile to ride my first hundred kilometers. Then, I unpack my bags in a chalet at the Auberge du km 31. Premises were absolutely spotless.
Day 2
The next morning, all passionate fans gather for a photo shooting. Four photographers took many pictures and even a drone was used to take incredible pictures while in full action. At 9 h, we leave for Ferme 5 étoiles. Suddenly, my belt broke on lake Jalobert, after only 2 minutes of riding. You can imagine how I felt at that moment. Because, must I remember you, I am the baby in the group. Around noon, we were awaited at Ferme 5 étoiles for a delicious lunch. This place is also an inn where many unusual animals come and surprise you. We get back riding towards Auberge du km 31 for dinner with all the team members in one of our cabins. The meal prepared by the « Chef » Yves Thérrien, one of us, was an excellent way for the team to get closer ties.
Day 3
We continue our adventure towards Monts Valin for about 250 km, including our return. Once arrived, we received from the owners a warm welcome that was way over our expectations. We had gourganes soup and meat pie, a traditional meal of my native region.
Day 4
I was sad to pack and to go back home. Personally, I lived 500 km of fun with great people. I will miss my new friends and I hope to see them again this winter on one of our wonderful Québec trails.
