After the announcement a few weeks ago of there return in the long-term trial concept of Sledmagazine.com, BRP finally confirmed just before the opening of the «Salon des sports récréatifs de Québec», his 2009 trials model. Mr Florian Burget, Ski-Doo marketing manager, announced the presence of the brand new MX-Z Renegade 600 E-TEC in the very popular section of the long-term trials.
The decision was already made for a Ski-Doo participation this season, only the model was yet to define. With the arrival of two new engines this season, two new platforms and many models redesigned, a difficult choice had to be made. Finally, we opted for a snowmobile that owned a 137 X 16- inches track and a 600 E-TEC Rotax engine with 120 hp. This new direct injection engine, a BRP’s exclusive technology made a great entrance last spring, so we decided to put it on trials by our team.
« We are very pleased to be able to try this season the REV-XP platform on a hybrid model like the Renegade» says Marc Thibeault, trials pilot and writer for Sledmagazine.com. More and more, we note that it’s a very popular model for people who likes riding in trails, but sometimes like to try some deep snow experience. « Most of all, we will have the chance to really test the 600 E-TEC and, see by ourselves all the benefits linked to gas consumption and oil, without forgetting the respect for the environment… » says Thibeault who adds «…a snowmobile that will keep a lot of our readers really interested, no doubt about that. »
Be with us in November for the pre-ride analyse of this new 2009 snowmobile.
