Snowmobilers can expect an early riding season this year, but are being warned that trails aren’t quite ready yet.
In a release Friday, the Sudbury Trail Plan Association said its eight member clubs are preparing local trails right now clubs and some may soon be opened under limited conditions.
"Trail conditions are improving with each snowfall, however, conditions are still very limited," Sudbury Trail Plan president Chuck Breathat said. "We will be increasing the number of kilometers of trails being prepped on a daily basis."
Lakes are still not safe for trail grooming equipment, he said.
