The day of our first snowstorm, it rings at the door, the delivery man gives me a box with the new CKX Mission snowmobile helmet. I’m going to try it this season.
The look
The helmet attracts the eye with its shiny black color that gives it a futuristic style. Its conception is clearly of high quality, which gives it its lightness.
Designing
The manufacturer did its homework to put a helmet on the market to avoid the disadvantages that are frequently experienced: heaviness, poor vision, fogged visor in freezing weather, discomfort, and cold air entry.
I took the time to take a good look at the components, and I notice several positive points such as its lightness, with a composite product shell, the oversized and removable visor that provides an excellent vision. Also, the solar visor, the air outlet with their new AMS concept, the hearing protection pads, the comfort of the lining, and so on.
I look forward to trying it out on the trail and providing you with my comments. It looks good for my tests. CKX has launched a helmet that will surely attract the attention of many snowmobilers and their competitors.
