This year, SledMagazine.com decided to make its rolling convention in a new facility in the Bas-Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Indeed, in October 2019, the Domaine Lac Saint-Mathieu was inaugurated. You're probably wondering why our team chose this establishment?
Quite simply because it is a place that welcomes snowmobilers with open arms, it offers efficient services for us, like a large parking lot, a bar, a restaurant, Wifi, and even a gas station. I must say that the gas station is a significant advantage, no need to worry about running out of gas, it's right there!
As we are many people, the accommodation in the chalet was ideal for us to get together. There are several choices available, 10 Deluxe cabins for 4 to 6 people, as well as Prestige cabins for six people.
One thing that is very important in the choice of an establishment when we are snowmobilers is the accessibility by snowmobile. Domaine Lac Saint-Mathieu is accessible by the Trans-Québec 5 trail, and various day trips are possible directly from the Domaine. Since we are there for several days, we wanted to have the choice of different itineraries. The Domaine Lac St-Mathieu is also a service center for the Fédération des Clubs de Motoneigistes du Québec (FCMQ).
There is a restaurant service for dinner as well as bar service. I have a feeling that we will have a great time there together! Moreover, their facilities can accommodate up to 50 people. Perfect for meetings, weddings, birthdays, and more… In spaces that have a breathtaking view of Lake Saint-Mathieu. For us, it is simply an ideal place to eat dinner together and have our meetings in complete peace of mind.
For breakfast, the concept is very interesting. The day before, we prepare a small basket with various foods, put at our disposition, to make breakfast ourselves in the chalet the next day. A convivial concept that will allow us to live beautiful moments together.
I talk a lot about snowmobiling, but you should know that their services are offered all year round. In the summer, you can enjoy their terrace with a magnificent view. There is even a fitness center! Truly a complete establishment ready to welcome you all year-round.
