Destination West Yellowstone?

Usually I'm not a fan of Snowmobile journalists telling fellow snowmobilers what they should think or do. Please forgive me as I am about to do that exact thing.

If West Yellowstone is your next snowmobile adventure destination, congratulations and prepare to be thrilled with the experience. If it is not, you should definitely put it on the top of your “must do snowmobile adventures” list.

I'm told that I use the word “experience” a lot.  I do not use it lightly and whenever I do, it is with the deepest meaning of “an event that touches the soul and senses in ways that represent everything that is good in life.”

West Yellowstone in my opinion offers the perfect offering of groomed trails, backcountry off trail adventure, deep powder meadows and high mountain conditions for Northeast snowmobilers. It's a very unique combination of trail types that we are familiar with and terrain and snow depths that we are not.  All of it in an incredible setting of Mountain peak vistas that seem to go on forever.  And all of this is available without even talking about the visual memories that can be had with an excursion inside the Yellowstone National Park limits.

But this article isn't really about everything you will find in West Yellowstone, it's about making your choice in a place to stay the absolute best that it can be.

For the past 4 years I have had the opportunity and privilege of being in attendance at the upcoming model year Media Snow Shoot event in early March. The end of February / beginning of March may be the best time to enjoy West Yellowstone as the days are longer, the temperatures more seasonally moderate and the snow conditions are at their best.

During my memorable visits to West Yellowstone, I have stayed in a variety of accommodations each with pluses and minuses. I'm hoping to make your choice easier by giving you the direct trail to a place that offers everything you need to enjoy West Yellowstone Montana to the fullest.

The Days Inn of West Yellowstone on the corner of Madison Ave and Electric Street does it all and 1-800-548-9551 is the only number you need to pull every piece of your stay and adventure together.
