BRP Introduces New XP-X Lightweight Snocross Helmet

BRP Introduces New XP-X Lightweight Snocross Helmet

BRP is introducing two new cutting edge snocross style helmets that feature the lightweight construction of M-FORGE® Composite technology and the best features mountain and trail riders demand in a premium helmet.

Both The Ski-Doo XP-X Team and XP-X Advanced TEC feature high comfort liners that are removable and washable with AGEIS antimicrobial treatment, eight vents for cooling and aerodynamic visors along with four-year limited warranties. But the reason most riders will want one is for their lightweight shell construction.

M-FORGE® Composite technology is the new material of choice for premium helmets because of its light weight, high strength protection and affordability. Lighter helmets reduce stress and strain on muscles and an XP-X helmet with M-FORGE® Composite is 20%lighter than carbon fiber helmet shells of the same design. It also provides better protection in cold temps than brittle carbon does and meets the most stringent standards in the Industry, including DOT and ECE 22.05. M-FORGE® Composite uses a thermoplastic matrix instead of conventional thermosets, so it behaves with increased ductility and tenacity. The advanced heat pressure construction process of M-

FORGE® Composite also keeps the price down while using no VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compound) so the shell is 100% recyclable.
The Ski-Doo XP-X Team is offered in three colors and sizes from small to double extra large with a traditional double D-ring chin strap and removable breath deflector. The XP-X Advanced TEC comes in two colors, XS-XXL sizing and features a Fidlock® magnetic chin strap closure.

XP-X features:
• Lightweight FORGE® Composite shell
• Removable/washable premium liner
• AEGIS anti-microbial treatment
• 8 cooling vents
• Aerodynamic Visor
• Perfect fit w/XP-X Goggles
• Helmet shell is recyclable
