Registration is needed by Wednesday for those who want to participate in a snowmobile safety course at the Almond Grange on School Street. The course will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. People ages 10 and up are welcome and participants must be 10 or older before Saturday. Lunch and snacks will be provided free.
According to state law, youth ages 10 to 13 may ride a snowmobile on lands on which snowmobiling is allowed if they’ve completed a snowmobile safety training course. Adults 18 and older may complete the course for a possible discount on insurance from most insurance companies.
