Last spring, we attended the 2012 SnowShoot held in West Yellowstone, Montana, and we tested many snowmobiles. Afterwards, we were determined for our Polaris long-term trials in 2012 to ride a model equipped with the new 136 in. Pro-Ride suspension. Of course, even a 10-year old magazine cannot take anything for granted; first, we had to get confirmation that Polaris would be part of our long-term trials for a 5th season. So, Polaris Industry in collaboration with SledMagazine.com, very proudly announces that the Polaris long-term trials model for 2012 will be the 600 Switchback Adventure. With its configuration and features, this snowmobile is in the solo touring category.
«We are happy to be able to present this snowmobile, designed for the Québec market, through the long-term trials…» said Mr Christian Barbeau, owner of the CM Barbeau dealership in the Québec greater region and our Polaris long-term trials partner since the very beginning. «This snowmobile is obviously an answer to the Québec market requests… it is another proof of the Polaris people’s increasing interest towards the Québec market» said Mr Marc Thibeault, columnist and test pilot for SledMagazine.com.
This snowmobile will be in the center of the long-term trials for 2012 and if we believe the first rumours coming from the best picks of the pilots who participated to the SnowShoot last spring, many improvements brought by this model equipped with the Pro-Ride chassis should be tested. Stay with us during the next weeks for the pre-ride analysis of the 600 Switchback Adventure.
