In 2014, when the Rotax 900 ACE engine was introduced, Ski-Doo integrated the new and innovative Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) system into this engine. The iTC was also added to the other 600 ACE models already in the lineup. It is a switch directly connected to the iTC box on the handlebar to control the throttle. However, many performance enthusiasts complained about the lack of sensation and precision of this iTC control on bumps and winding trails.
For 2022, Ski-Doo, which is always listening to its customers, offers us a significant improvement. A standard cable will now connect the handlebar throttle to the iTC under the hood. The main goal of this cable's return will be to create physical pressure to improve precision, better sensation, and greater control on rough trails. It will be designed with a more extended range controller to better meet performance drivers' needs in challenging conditions and easier terrain.
This exclusive system provides linear and predictable acceleration with three driving modes (Sport, Standard, ECO) that can be selected at any time. This new feature will only be available on 180 HP versions.
