Kislowski Racing preps for 2018 ECS season

Thirteen-rider Arctic Cat team has eyes on the podium

With the national snocross opener now in the books, another of the northeast's premiere race teams is busy preparing for an all-out assault on tracks here in the northeast.

Kislowski Racing, based in Glenville, New York, has assembled a group of 13 talented athletes to compete for class championships on the East Coast Snocross (ECS) Conx2share series.

The team will field a fleet of 2018 Arctic Cat ZR6000R SX race sleds direct from the factory led by Michael Newman (Pro Lite), Dalton Jacquier (Pro Lite); Dylan Roes (Pro Lite); Tucker Kierstead (Pro Lite); Chris Coleman (Plus 25-35); Rachel Serra (Pro Women); Brandon O'Neill (Sport); Brandon Grey (Sport); the talented brother act of Ethan and Owen Gagne (Junior classes);  Bryce Little (Jr. 14-15 class); Michael Bosch Jr. and David Carr (both in Transition 8-10).

Team owner Jim Kislowski has been involved with both snowmobile and dirt track auto racing for many years. The 2017 grass drag season brought championships and plenty of trophies, now he hopes to carry that momentum onto the snow in 2018.

"We've got an amazing group of riders gearing up for this winter," Kislowski said. "I know that Michael, Dalton, Dylan and Tucker all are striving for a strong season in Pro Lite. Each of our riders across the board take snocross racing very seriously, while also enjoying quality time at the tracks."

For 2018, Kislowski Racing has teams up with legendary horsepower maker D&D Racing, of Lowville, New York. After a successful first season together in 2017, both look for more wins and podiums on the ECS circuit. D&D Racing was founded in 1985 and is synonymous with horsepower.

"Dale Roes is easily one of the top engine builders in snowmobile racing," Kislowski added. "Every one of our drag sleds he built engines for this year won a championship. He keeps our sleds running fast, and services our sleds at his shop. We'll provide a Dyno Tuning service on-site this winter, along with Race Prep work for the Junior classes. We're fortunate to have D&D back on board."

"Our marketing partners, like D&D Racing and the folks at Arctic Cat, have placed their faith in us. We're working to provide some exposure for them here in the east and put them on the podium. I'm excited about the 2018 ECS season with new venues and good competition. We're getting ready for a very busy winter."

Newman, 18, of Stamford, Connecticut, will compete part-time in the Pro Lite class for 2018. The young racer's time is understandably limited since joining the military. Newman long since paid his dues in snocross racing and is expected to run up front during his part-time effort.

Jacquier, 23, of East Canaan, Connecticut, made huge gains in his performance last season and hopes to land on the podium frequently in 2018. Roes, 21, of Lowville, NY, has matured quickly since making the transition from grass drags to snocross. He's also the owner of R12 Designs, providing wraps for sleds and ATVs. Roes can wrap just about anything and does the team's machines every year.

Kierstead, of Alton Bay, New Hampshire, ran up front in Sport action last winter and has the skills to compete at the top level.

The powerful combination of Newman, Jacquier, Roes and Kierstead will give Arctic Cat fans ample reason to cheer as they follow the ECS Pro Lite class in 2018.

Serra, of Charlestown, Rhode Island, finished fifth in Pro Women points last season. With her new 2018 Arctic Cat ZR, she'll be gunning for a top-three finish with consistent runs each week.

Kislowski Racing would like to thank its highly-valued marketing partners, including primary partner D&D Racing; along with associate partners Arctic Cat, G.F.Y. Construction, R12 Designs, Gagne Mechanical, NAPA Schenectady Unit Parts, Camara Slate, Studboy, Connecticut Valley Auto Auction, Rippys Liquor & Marketplace, Spectro Oils, and new partner Motorfist, who will provide high quality gear for the team in 2018. Without their support, this team could not attempt such an ambitious schedule with 13 riders.
