Crossing the St-Lawrence River in Trois-Rivières

Remorquage R. Montpas, located on the St-Lawrence south shore close to the Laviolette bridge, offers a shuttle service to snowmobilers who wish to cross the St-Lawrence. Flatbed trucks are available to load and tie up your snowmobile and they shuttle back and forth while a small comfortable van takes the passengers aboard.

Affiliated to CAA Québec, Remorquage R. Montpas also offers this shuttle service in other seasons to cross ATV and bicycles. The employees may go and meet you at time and place appointed, take care of the snowmobiles and then, drop you off directly on the trail of your choice on the other shore of the river.

Snowmobiling travellers heading for Québec City by trail TQ 3 often choose to bypass the city of Trois-Rivières, crossing at the same time the St-Lawrence River and St-Maurice River. For a few dollars more, in Trois-Rivières, snowmobilers heading north can be dropped off at the suburban airport. On the south shore, you can get to Remorquage R. Montpas by snowmobile as they are located close to the Laviolette bridge, at the intersection of trails TQ 5 and TQ 25.

The 2012-13 rates are 40 $/snowmobile, including 2 persons.  Rebate is offered to groups. A few dollars may be added for further destinations.
