Jamie Anseeuw – Race Team Manager (Co-Owner) says “the team is looking very strong in the testing we have to date at our test track in Manitoba. I am really pleased with the XP Ski-doo. The race engineers at BRP have done their homework. With our snow making equipment and a groomer, in the past week we have been able to really make some good snow and we are looking forward to more testing after Duluth.”
Blair Morgan – Co-Owner and the team’s primary racer wanted to set the record straight regarding his future plans. “I’m having fun and I feel really good right now. Everyone asks if this is my last year racing snocross. The team we have, the crew and racers are great and it’s fun. I’ve had some injuries the past couple of seasons and with the way I feel right now I’m looking forward to racing this year and as many more as I can. I expect I’ll race as long as my health permits me too. Once I retire I’ll likely work with our young racers and do testing and stuff, but for now and as long as I can I’m focused on racing and winning."
Wayne Madsen – Business Manager (Co-Owner) projects over 300,000 of the PS2 Game “SnoCross 2” featuring “Air” Blair Morgan will be sold. The game was released by Crave Entertainment in June 2007. Wayne says “It’s an affordable game for all ages; the difficulty starts low and gets tougher as you get better and eventually you race Blair head to head, I’m not there yet.”
BMRT has also been involved with the Canadian & American Spinal Research Organization and in March 2007 organized the inaugural Blair Morgan Fantasy Camp. Blair Morgan will once again host the Fantasy Camp at the Glacierhouse Resort in Revelstoke, BC on April 6 to 8, 2008. This is a “Shoot For A Cure” fundraising event to raise awareness and funds for spinal research. Find out more by visiting bmrt.com/fantasy-camp!
In addition to the Blair Morgan Fantasy Camp, charity partners PowerSports Snowmobile Tour and Ski-doo have helped to present a contest at each National snocross event with a Grand prize of a trip to the Blair Morgan Fantasy Camp. Donations are also being accepted at the events.
